The KELTEC KV210-035 is a spin-on separator that looks a lot like an oil filter, often found in some smaller lubricated compressor and it's a critical component of the lubrication system.
Because the spin-on separator is working at rated pressure it also needs the be built at the correct pressure rating for safety.
Spin-on separator are normally mounted upside-down to reduce the amount of oil lost at replacement. They normally need to be changed anywhere between 2000 hr and 4000 hr depending on the manufacturer recommendation.
