The QUINCY QCE100 compressed air line filter replacement element are design perform as the original. Line filter are a key componement of your air treatment system. The function of line filter is to remove contaminant from the air once compressed before entering in the distribution network or at the point of use, they are always a critical part of the air treament system and in most case work hand in hand with dryer.
Fine filters or oil removal filter will have the same function as a general purpose or after filter but will perform better. They are the most effective level of filtration for water aerosols, oil and fine particule. Fine filter are not recommended if you don't need a critical level of filtration, as they will increase pressure-drop and maintenance cost. The rating of fine-filter elements are between .1 microns and 0.01 microns in size. They are always installed with a pre-filter and/or a general purpose filter. Some manufacturer will call it a grade 4 classification
