The SOTRAS DA 1474 is a maintenance part that you will find in lubricated compressor it is called an air oil separator element and it's a critical component of the lubrication system.
A standard rotary screw air oil separator assembly should retain most of the oil inside the lubrication system and entrained in the compressed air for a maximum of 2-3 ppm.
