Air Oil Separator Element KELTEC KD55-008

The KELTEC KD55-008 air oil separator acts as a filter for the mix of air and oil getting out of the air end. This part plays an important role in the air quality, the energy performance of the compressor and the reliability of the equipment.
The air oil separator tank normally has a preliminary mechanical separator to remove most of the liquid oil, the element function is to capture the mist created by the flow and velocity of the mix getting into the tank.
The top-hat style air oil separators are installed inside a separator tanks with a gasket and a grounding wire. They normally need to be changed anywhere between 4000 hr and 8000 hr depending on the parts.
