The MILS B3 x 9PFGM separator element is located inside the air oil separator tank and separate the compressed air from the residual oil coming out of the compression bloc.
A standard rotary screw air oil separator assembly should retain most of the oil inside the lubrication system and entrained in the compressed air for a maximum of 2-3 ppm.
Air/oil separator elements have a significant impact on the overall performance of a compressed air system. Excessive oil carry-over will result in higher compressor maintenance cost, higher energy consumption due to high differential pressure in downstream filtration and higher non-quality product cost.
